D 1: Antananarivo > Fort Dauphin
Welcome in Fort Dauphin airport and transfer organized by the hotel.
Relaxing at the hotel or on the beach of Libanona which is located in a few hundred meters. This is a very popular beach because it is protected from prevailing winds and big waves. Its offers beautiful sunsets from the belvedere that overlooks it.
We can also choose to do a visit of the city on foot. Fort Dauphin is an end of the world with the immensity of the ocean, the desert and the mountains. It is there that the very first foreigners accosted, the Portuguese, in the XVth century.

Talinjoo hotel is situated in a peaceful place, facing the sea. Nested on the hill side dropping into the Indian Ocean, the hotel invested on contemporary architecture mixing rough cut work and local materials, for a total integration to the setting.

D 2: Evatra and the Bay of Lokaro
After breakfast, we leave the hotel to go to the region of Evatra.
The first part of our journey by car drives us to Lanirano Lake. We then continue by motor boat through lakes and rivers lined with mangroves to reach the small fishing village of Evatra and our lodge.
After lunch, we head off to the beach of Lovers and the Bay of Fishermen. Between swims in the creeks, we take the time to visit the surrounding villages and enjoy the beautiful view from the Evatra lighthouse.
Our evening is spent around a campfire with villagers in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

It is situated at 40km of track from Fort Dauphin or at 3hours by boat on the waterfront near the first village of Evatra it is composed of small bungalows clean and simple. There is no running water or electricity. We are going to live in all simplicity to the rhythm of nature and for our toilet, we have buckets. . In the evening, the villagers invite each other, we sing, we dance and we share only moments of life in a guaranteed warm and friendly atmosphere.
D 3: Bay of Lokaro
After breakfast we leave with a guide for a quiet hike to the Bay of Lokaro.
This day leads us to meet a series of beautiful coves where we will enjoy some bathing and snorkelling. We also discover an amazing flora, including the famous carnivorous plant, Nepenthes. An amazing scenery punctuated by magnificent views of the lagoons and the sea await us on this excursion.
We are back to the lodge for lunch.
Early in the afternoon, we take the road back to return to our hotel in Fort Dauphin.

D 4: Bay of Sainte Luce
Breakfast at the hotel.
We leave in a 4WD vehicle to the Bay of Sainte Luce. It is in this site located in forty kilometres of Fort Dauphin on the northeast coast, that was established in 1642 by the first French colony. This magnificent bay shelters saint Luce’s small village built along a beautiful beach lined with filaos and with palm trees as well as a small nature reserve in a beautiful dense forest. We will go to meet the villagers who still practice traditional fishing aboard their canoes. This place, a little bit timeless, offers a true moment of change of scenery.

D 5: Nahampoana reserve
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by car to the reserve of Nahampoana. This reserve was, at the time of colonization, a former horticultural station for the implementation of economically oriented crops, such as Liberian coffee, rubber tree or vanilla. It hides natural pools, waterfalls and caves to discover endemic tropical vegetation, sometimes very surprising. We can meet with six species of lemurs including two nocturnal, turtles, crocodiles, chameleons and birds. We will also explore the area around the reserve during a boat ride.
We return to our hotel in Fort Dauphin in the late afternoon.
