We fly to the west of Madagascar and fly over one of the most extraordinary sites there is: The Tsingy de Bemaraha.

We land on the Amborodia runway near the park

Transfer and installation at the Soleil des Tsingy.

We set off to discover the Petits Tsingy. Confined in a relatively small space on the 152,000 hectares of the Bemaraha reserve, they constitute a real refuge for hundreds of protected species in the region. The biosphere reigns supreme here. In this territory, 53 species of birds, 6 varieties of lemurs coexist, including the extremely rare Decken’s sifaka easily recognizable by its silky white coat, or the tiny chameleon Brookesia Perarmata.

NB: the pace and duration of the walk depend on the participants (minimum 2 hours). Your guide will advise you.

  • Durée: 2h30 to 3h flight  + 2h walk

Day 2: Tsingy > Baobab Avenue > Morondava

We go hiking to discover the Great Tsingy.

This nature sanctuary is listed as a UNESCO heritage site because this rocky massif is one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Madagascar. It is crossed by innumerable steep gorges and steep corridors, in which evolve many animal and plant species endemic to the region. Suspension bridges and promontories offer a splendid view of the entire massif. Picnic lunch in the park.

Flight to Morondava in the early afternoon. Transfer and installation at the hotel.

We leave in 4×4 to discover the famous Alley of the Baobabs. We are there at the right time, the sun is low, the raking light, the smooth trunks reflect the orange rays of the sun. These are great perspective shots. A cocktail is served to us during this unique moment.

Return to the hotel in the early evening.

  • Durée: 2 à 3h walk + 45mn to 1h flight

Day 3: Morondava > Makay > Isalo Park

Departure of our short flight to the South and the Isalo National Park.

The Makay Massif is discovered before our eyes. It covers nearly 4,000 km² and is one of the last virgin areas on the planet. Its geography made up of massifs, canyons and forests, and its difficult access have enabled it to maintain an almost absolute state of preservation.

Arrival on the Ranohira track. Transfer, installation and lunch at the hotel.

We leave for the first discovery of the park. The Isalo massif is a ruiniform plateau of continental sandstone where nature has adapted to the dry climate. The massif stretches as far as the eye can see with a savannah dotted with satrana palms. An aperitif will be offered to us in the hotel grounds during the magnificent spectacle offered at sunset.

  • Durée: 1h15 to 1h45 flight + 2h walk

Day 4: Ranohira > Berenty Reserve

After breakfast, we continue our visit to the park by walking quietly through amazing landscapes made of canyons, pools and rocks with magical erosion. The path is dotted with “Pachypodium”, dwarf baobabs, and you can come across lemurs, birds or chameleons.

Return to the hotel for lunch before our flight to the Deep South. Arrival, transfer and installation at the Lodge.

The Berenty private reserve extends over 250 hectares and brings together some of the most beautiful fauna and flora attractions in southern Madagascar.

  • Durée:  2h walk + 1h15 to 1h45 flight

Day 5: Berenty > Tana

Our morning is devoted to visiting the reserve. Located in a dense forest of hundred-year-old tamarind trees on the banks of the Mandrare River, it is a privileged place for the observation of endemic

species. Four species of lemurs from the region are represented there: the Sifaka, the ring-tailed lemur or Maki, the mouse lemur murin and the white-legged lemur. Turtles, chameleons, snakes and butterflies also inhabit the reserve. It is also an ornithological observation spot.

Return to the lodge for lunch before flying to Tana.

  • Durée: 2h visit + 2 to 2h30 flight
