COMFORT HIKING IN THE SOUTH – 12 DAYS

These “COMFORT HIKING” trips allow you to go hiking on the main spots of Madagascar without having to sleep in a tent. All nights are close to the sites, in charming and quality hotels.

As an appetizer, a walk on the Hauts-Plateaux, to meet the population.

Then the National Road 7 towards the South offers us the monumental granite blocks of Tsaranoro and the mischievous lemurs of the Anja reserve.

Finally, it is the Isalo massif which presents itself to us with its canyons and its dry forest. The road takes us to one of the most beautiful lagoons in Madagascar, Ifaty. We will let ourselves be seduced by the tranquility, the beauty and the hospitality of this land of the Vezo fishermen.

These “COMFORT HIKING” trips allow you to go hiking on the main spots of Madagascar without having to sleep in a tent. All nights are at the hotel near the sites visited.

To visit Diego-Suarez is to discover a unique concentration of Yemeni, Somali, Chinese, Indian and Bantu origins. We hike in the freshness of the Montagne d’Ambre national park, populated by lemurs, birds, butterflies…

The walk to the 3 Bays is a delight. We walk on the beach until we arrive at Cap Miné with a view of the Emerald Sea. The Tsingy Rouge at the foot of the eroded canyons contrast with the surprising geological formations of the Ankarana National Park and the discovery of Malagasy rural life on the banks of the Sambirano River.

For our last stopover, we land in the enchanting setting of Nosy Be, the Island of Perfumes.

SLOW TRAVEL TO THE EAST – 9 DAYS

The principle of our “Slow Travel” is simple, it’s about traveling while taking the time to do things, to see people, to understand their daily lives. This approach to Madagascar is intended to be intimate and gentle.

The encounter with the Indri-indri, the largest of the lemurs, in the Perinet reserve is always a moving moment. The local guide will tell us about his customs and his legend. On the Canal des Pangalanes, we stroll through the villages and discover the way of life of the fishermen, between lagoons and ocean.

The charming little island of Ste Marie invites us to beautiful walks along the beaches or by bicycle going up towards the north or towards the east coast.

RN7 AND THE EAST TRAIN – 13 DAYS

This tour is an invitation to discover the incredible diversity of the Great Island: hikes in the fertile Highlands and the rippling rice fields, quiet villages and children laughs, train crossing towards the lush of the East coast, quiet navigation by canoe on the Canal des Pangalanes which watersides planted with spices and coffee, strange and attractive nature of the great Ranomafana rainforest in contrast with the arid plateau of Horombe, walking through beautiful canyons of Isalo eroded by water, route to Mozambique Channel with singular tombs.

Our last stop to enjoy the seaside is the turquoise lagoon of Ifaty on the lands of Vezo fishermen.

FROM SOUTH TO NORTH – 15 DAYS

For the most complete possible discovery of the Great Island, its landscapes, its culture and its population.

Our goal with this trip is to make you appreciate the variety and diversity of Madagascar. To the south, by the famous National 7 and the national parks of Ranomafana in the forest and Isalo for a short hike. To the north, in the Diego-Suarez region, we visit the Amber Mountain National Park and the Tsingy of Ankarana. End in apotheosis on the beaches of Nosy Be for a relaxing stay.

TSINGY, LEMURS & BAOBABS – 7 DAYS

This one-week itinerary takes you to the west coast of Madagascar between the coastal town of Morondava and the Tsingy de Bemaraha. Exciting discovery of this UNESCO World Heritage site. We spend 2 days to better understand this amazing landscape.

Our chaotic track weaves through the middle of this wooded savannah, the red ribbon of laterite is simply cut by the two ferries allowing us to cross the rivers.

The lemurs of the Kirindy reserve in the heart of the dry forest allow themselves to be photographed.

Here the baobab is king, it punctuates the landscape with its slender and massive presence and the Alley of the Baobabs is an excellent representation of it.

GREAT TRIP IN MADAGASCAR – 27 DAYS

The most complete trip possible to discover the different regions of Madagascar. Each has its population, its ethnic groups, its way of life, its rhythm. The atmospheres are not the same whether you are in Diego or Fianarantsoa, ​​the people are different, their daily life too. FROM DIEGO SUAREZ TO NOSY BE – 8 DAYS

This journey takes us from the far north of Madagascar to Nosy Be, the island of perfumes.

The city of Diego-Suarez is surrounded by a rich and diversified nature. Beautiful beaches open onto one of the most beautiful bays in the world and, to the east, the Indian Ocean runs aground in wild and protected coves.

Overlooking Diego Bay, the Montagne d’Ambre Park harbors unique and endemic flora and fauna. Accompanied by a park guide, we hike through this lush forest.

Discovery of the amazing red Tsingy and a little further, the Tsingy of Ankarana. We go on an excursion inside the park to the loss of water, the Tsingy rary and the suspension bridge. 

Nosy Be and its sweetness of life will win you over. Relaxation or active stay, everything is possible, the island is full of possibilities: visit of Lokobe Park, boat trips to Nosy Komba, diving in Nosy Tanikely, swimming with turtles in Nosy Sakatia or a day in Nosy Iranja.

FROM TULEAR TO STE MARIE – 13 DAYS

The starting point of Malagasy tours is from the most beautiful lagoons of this Great Island, Ifaty, in the country of Vezo sea nomadic fishermen. We travel across large plains of palm trees and baobabs to join the ruinform massif of Isalo. The highlands crossing offers to travelers another face of Madagascar, marriage of rice and water. A flash passage in Antananarivo to discover this commemorative site of Merina monarchy and Malagasy history. The road to the east opens us its luxuriant reserves, rich in butterflies, chameleons and lemurs. Last stopover in Sainte Marie (Nosy Boraha), peaceful island with paradise flavors .
