From Tana, we go towards Antsirabe to meet the population during a nice hike in the villages. Then we headed to the Massif du Makay that we explore for 5 days in the company of our friends, guides and local porters. From plateaus to canyons, from long faults to rivers of sand, an exciting discovery of this exceptional site. The nights are camping.

On leaving Makay, we reach the town of Morondava and further north the Kirindy reserve for a discovery of the dry forest and its amazing fauna. We continue our journey towards the Tsingy de Bemaraha to discover one of the most curious sites there is.

The Alley of Baobabs will end this beautiful journey by revealing itself at sunset.

Lemuria, a lost continent in the Indian Ocean, of which Madagascar would be one of the last original gardens…

Indeed, this island with an extraordinary biodiversity shelters the majority of the present lemurs in the world. There are five families, 15 genera and 103 species and under species which represent an inestimable biological, cultural and economic richness.

These sociable and peaceful primates are essentially threatened by the destruction of their housing environment, the rainforest. They are part of animals the most threatened to the world today, although numerous actions are jointly led between Madagascar National Parks, the local communities, the non-governmental organizations and the researchers to contribute to protect them more effectively. THE UICN (International Union for the Preservation of the Nature) established a classification of the status of preservation of the species that is regularly updated in which 25 species of endangered lemurs.

We invite you to an unforgettable journey to meet these surprising companions, the perfect ambassadors of the peculiarity of the fauna of Madagascar

In Madagascar, wildlife is everywhere! From North to South, from East to West… mammals, reptiles, batrachians, fish, butterflies and birds inhabit this nature sanctuary. Madagascar National Parks manages 43 parks, but there are nearly 120 protected areas which are distributed across the country under various categories.

It is difficult not to forget anything as this fauna, whose rate of endemism reaches 80%, is rich and diversified.

It is present all over the island, in the heart of the dry or humid forest, in the savannah and the thorny bush, at the bottom of the canyons, at the edge of the lakes and rivers… and of course, in the magnificent seabed of the Indian Ocean.

We are going to meet this unique heritage in the heart of some of the most renowned reserves and national parks in Madagascar.

Madagascar has a botanical heritage of unparalleled richness; it is in itself a true biodiversity concentration!

Aloes, Didieracea, Euphorbias, Kalanchoe… 95% of succulent species are endemic. Very present in the Great South of Madagascar, we also find them in the highlands, along the West Coast up to the Cape of Amber.

Accompanied by a specialist of the Malagasy botany, we go off to explore this exceptional and amazing flora.

We recommend this circuit from mid-September to late October, but it can be done all year long.

The region of S.A.V.A (Sambava, Antalaha, Vohémar, Andapa) one of the twenty two regions of Madagascar, belongs to the province of Diego-Suarez. It possesses in its heart a jewel named Marojejy, a magnificent massif peaking in 2133 m, very little frequented and the object of a trekking of exception. Luxuriant vegetation, surprising fauna, fascinating hiking – Although not easy! We visit the region during the first part of this journey then go back towards Diego-Suarez, taking time to visit the site of Daraina and its lemurs, the reserve of Ankarana and its famous Tsingy, and to make a bend towards the Tsingy Rouges. Very close to Diego, we invite you to two beautiful hikes in the Amber mountain and in the Three Bays, at the edge of the Indian Ocean.
